Emotional Freedom Technique

Emotional Freedom Technique, or tapping, is a method for calming emotions based on the principles of Chinese acupuncture, but without the needles.
By tapping with your fingertips on specific points on the body while focusing on a negative emotion, you send a calming signal to the brain.

How does EFT work ?

From a physiological perspective, tapping deactivates the amygdala, the part of the brain responsible for the “fight or flight” response.
When we are stressed, our cortisol levels rise. Tapping on specific points signals to the brain that it is safe and helps reduce the emotional intensity associated with a memory, a phobia, or any other traumatic experience.

When should you use EFT ?

I am trained in EFT techniques by David Vigneron. It’s a pretty amazing technique; tapping on acupuncture points might seem strange, but it really helps to reduce stress and anxiety in just a few minutes. Come try it and feel free to contact me for more information.
